Dear Customer:
Please read carefully and follow the precautions to use properly for lithium batteries. Improper use or operation methods will reduce the performance of the battery, and may cause battery to heat, bloat, rupture, smoke or catch fire.
As you know, almost all electronics product need to use lithium battery, so lithium polymer battery as it’s utility, durability and flexibility size that usage scope is very wide, like medical equipment, wearable device, handheld instrument, automotive product, E-cigarette......So, let’s learn more.
1 Notes on Battery Use
1) Charging
1.1 During charging, the charging current, voltage and charging temperature shall not exceed the specified standards. If it exceeds the set value, the charge and discharge performance, mechanical performance and safety performance of the battery may be damaged, which may cause the battery to heat, swell and leak or even fire. Usually std. Charge current is 0.2C, Max. Charge current is 1C.
1.2 Charging voltage: The charging voltage shall not exceed the charging voltage 4.20 ± 0.05V specified in this product specification.
1.3 Charging current: The charging current shall not exceed the maximum charging current specified in this product specification.
1.4 Charging temperature: When charging, it must be charged within the temperature range specified in this product specification, 0-45℃.
1.5 Prohibit reverse charging: Connect the positive and negative poles of the battery correctly. Reverse charging is strictly prohibited. If the positive and negative poles of the battery are reversed, the battery will not be charged. Simultaneously. Reverse charging will reduce the charge and discharge performance and safety of the battery, and will cause heat generation and leakage.
2) Discharge
2.1 Discharge current: The discharge current must not exceed the maximum discharge current specified in the product specification. Large current discharge will cause the battery discharge capacity to decrease and cause the battery to overheat and reduce the cycle life. Usually common battery std. Discharge is 0.2C, Max. Continuous discharge current is 1C, Peak discharge current is 2C for 3 seconds. Except high rate battery.
2.2 Discharge temperature: Battery discharge must be performed within the working range specified in this product specification, -20℃ ~60℃.
2.3 Over-discharge: Over-discharge will seriously damage the performance of the battery, and the voltage of the single battery should not be lower than 2.75V during discharge. In addition, during a long period of non-use, the battery may be in a state of over-discharge due to its self-discharge characteristics. To prevent the occurrence of over-discharge, the battery should be regularly charged to maintain its voltage between 3.6V to 3.85V. While usually our battery is match with Seiko PCB, that end-off voltage is 3.0V. The PCB can protect battery over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, and short-circuit.
3) Battery assembly and disassembly
3.1 Adhesion matters between battery and case: When the battery is attached with 3M glue and the case is integrated, the 3M tape should be attached to the edge of the battery in a symmetrical manner. Choose 3M glue with good adhesion to facilitate battery adhesion Pick up and replace. Do not stick 3M glue to the middle of the battery.
3.2 Disassembly of the battery: Adjust the proper temperature of the hot air cylinder (the temperature should not be higher than 80 ℃), aim at the edge of the battery with 3M glue, heat it repeatedly, and use the thumb and index finger to extract the battery along the battery edge. Be careful not to pry the battery with a sharp blade or tweezers. Once the battery is punctured, it will swell, rupture, smoke or catch fire.
2 Battery Storage Precautions
The suitable temperature range for long-term storage of the battery is -10 ℃ ~ + 35 ℃, the relative humidity is 45% ~ 85%, the voltage is 3.6 ~ 3.85V. For details, please refer to the relevant provisions of this product specification.
3 Other Precautions for Use
1) In order to prevent possible leakage, heat generation and fire of the battery, please pay attention to the following precautions:
1.1 It is forbidden to disassemble the battery or change the battery structure at will under any circumstances.
1.2 It is forbidden to operate or use the battery in a high-temperature environment or near a heat source.
1.3 It is forbidden to heat or throw the battery into fire.
1.4 It is forbidden to throw the battery into water or put it in a humid environment.
2) Theoretically, there is no flowing electrolyte in the polymer lithium-ion battery. However, in the event of electrolyte leakage and contact with the skin, eyes, or other parts of the body, you should immediately rinse with water and seek medical attention.
3) It is forbidden to use damaged batteries (battery seals are damaged, the casing is damaged, the electrolyte is smelled, electrolyte leakage, etc.). When operating the battery, if the battery is found to be hot, stay away from the battery immediately to avoid unnecessary injury.
4 Quality Assurance
1) Product warranty: 12 months after the delivery date begins.
2) Scope of quality guarantee: Under normal use or storage conditions, the battery appears to be bulging, without voltage, and poor leakage.
Remarks: Improper use or storage causes bad battery is not within the scope of warranty.
3) For safety reasons, the battery is generally 30% -50%, and the monomer voltage is 3.6V-3.85V. During use, the battery voltage will drop. If you encounter low power or do not start, please proceed Charge. Low battery voltage (above 3.0V, but lower than the normal use voltage of the machine) is not within the warranty scope.
